I can read German, so feel free to reply in German, but I'm not nearly comfortable enough with my speaking or writing ability so here goes. Also I had no idea what board to post in.

So, do any of you remember wayyy back in the day, in around 1998... The "Maenner Sind Schweine" music video was on Viva, and there exisited this English fan site by these two geeky American teens named Stacy and Geneva, actually at dieaerzte.com (I wonder if that's why this site ended up having to be bademeister?). Oddly enough archive.org does not have it...but yes. I am "Stacy" from so many years past, though I don't go by that name anymore.

For one I would be interested if anyone actually remembers that site or corresponded with me. And secondly, I have a somewhat interesting/touching tale about how making that fansite and being a fan actually quite radically altered the course of my life in a very good way!

I tried to send some mail to Farin's question email, but I have no idea if it would go through and I was thinking I may have been including "intime Geständnisse", which it said not to include. And I can't send for an autographed picture and all that, because of the German post thing (still in the US.) If there's any way I can get in contact with our only Gott, belafarinrod, I would be very thankful. And if anyone has any questions I can try to answer

It wasn't open so I went it to the einpaarfrage address - thanks for the information, I wasn't sure if it was something that was long term or temporary when it said I couldn't contact him directly. How often does he go in and out of contact? I guess I'll wait either for it to come back up or hope that he sees the one to einpaarfrage...

I think I still have my SusiS@dieaerzte.com email address configured somewhere - even though it hasn't been working for years. *g*

Farin usually opens up his mailbox whenever they are on tour, so probably in October again.

Hi Susi! Wow, I do vaugely remember the Bademeister chat! I'm happy you remembered me although I can't say the same, but don't be offended...due to the reasons I'm about to explain.

They're going on tour in October? How wonderful! I wonder if I could somehow be able to go out to see a concert. You see, I suffered from memory loss (retrograde amnesia) last year. I remember a lot of things from my past a lot more clearly than anything that's happened to me in the last four years.

I don't want this to sound cheezy, but Die Ärzte ended up changing my life in so many really profound and positive ways. Sharing this story with the band and having the chance to see them again would mean a lot to me.

And naah, don't worry, I'm not offended. There were quite a few people back then that are not around in the "fan universe" anymore, and I guess I only remember a few as well. You and Geneva had a bit of a different position because you were the only fans from America.
